Southern Illinois Brittany Club

   The Southern Illinois Brittany Club was founded in 1979 as the Ill-Mo Brittany Club and renamed by the American Kennel Club and the American Brittany Club in 1983.  The objects of the club shall be to promote cooperation and friendship among the breeders and owners of brittanies, and to encourage higher standards in breeding, training, and showing of the Brittany in the field and in the show ring.  To strive to keep the Brittany forever a "dual Dog", to encourage sportsman like competition, and to conduct field trials and shows under the rules of the AKC.
